Great blending by Dan Aikido, Manila jazz with a bossa twist, British group with a French name on a Italian label with a bossa joint, Norwegian Jazz Singer Karin Krog, who's been recording since 1964, although this track is taken from her 1974 album with Michel LeGrand songs, spiritual soul jazz from Archie Shepp and the title track for this edition Good Bye Sweet Pops, one of my favorite groups from now, Smoke City, founder with Courtney Pine of Jazz Warriors big band, Cleveland Watkiss album Victory's happy songbook, funky work - what else - from the Freestyle label by Diesler, soundtrack stuff by the legendary Galt MacDermot form the movie Cotton Comes To Harlem, with Godfrey Cambridge. Moody jazz from Gilles Peterson's Brownswood label by the Elan Mehler. we go out with the beautiful vocals by Lucy Wilkins with Speeka.
